Q. Does WebDMEMR automatically "lock" a user account after several, failed login attempts?
A. After 3 failed login attempts the user is blocked from WebDMEMR, only WebDMEMR staff can unblock the user.
Q. What is the frequency of data backup?
A. We have multiple backup layers at the OS, database & file system level. SQL data has 4 daily differentials, 1 daily full back up, with a 2 week retention. Each server OS and data files has a full daily back up with a 2 week retention. All sever partitions have either a Raid 1 or Raid 5 configuration.
Q. After a clinical trial is closed, are records available for access during the records retention period?
A. All data is always "live". Our servers are operating at less than 5 % capacity (August-12-2009). We have had no need to purge data!
