New User Fee

Dear WebDMEMR subscriber:

WebDMEMR’s promise to continue improving efficiency and quality of care has yielded a new addition to the application. For this reason our monthly user fee will increase 1 month after this new addition is available, which is expected by early October 2009. The new monthly user fee will be $40.00 per user which will cover the cost to be paid to different vendors supporting the features being added. We understand that this is a significant difference from the current user fee, however, even with this increase WebDMEMR continues to lead the market in low cost with high added value. Please review the newly added services below. These added services will be available through your monthly subscription to WebDMEMR. We have added these important features to facilitate the management of our patients. Conversely, the average fee for subscribing to each of these services independently reaches well over $100/month. WebDMEMR is providing you, our subscriber, every service listed below, integrated into our application, and not as independent applications.

1. A certified e- prescribing module.

2. Patient hand-outs (leaflets) of prescribed medications in 18 languages.

3. Pregnancy and geriatric alerts on prescribed meds.

4. Comprehensive drug information from Lexi-Comp (drug-drug interactions etc.).

5. Electronic pharmacy connections from Surescripts.

6. Automated Allergy and drug review from First Data Bank.

7. First Data Bank database includes drugs approved by the FDA, over-the-counter drugs, plus information on herbals, nutraceuticals and dietary supplements

8. Comprehensive managed care formularies from Medimedia (The InfoScan Formulary Database, is a collection of over 2800 plan and organization-specific formularies).

9. All Medicare Part D formularies.

10. Managed care interface from RXHUB.

Currently these features instantly qualify you for the federal incentives offered through the section 179 tax write off, the Medicare Improvement for Patients and Providers Act, which provides incentives for the use of e-prescribing. This Act offers providers a 2% increase in Medicare reimbursement for e-prescribers in 2009 and 2010, a 1% bonus in 2011 and 2012, and .5% bonus in 2013. This bonus structure favors providers that act now and you may benefit for the whole year 2010.

WebDMEMR will continue to live up to its promise. In the near future, we will be adding other modules to WebDMEMR that will be free of charge. For example, an Office Document Catalog to archive all office documents, a CT Document Catalog (electronic CT Regulatory Binder), and a module for analysis/search in database for pre specified patient populations, etc. We are also open to suggestions and improvements and will integrate changes that will satisfy the needs of the users in general. Of course, as we move along, we have established priorities that will benefit all users and may delay some of your individual requests. But eventually, we will try to satisfy most of your needs. Only the costs of those services that are outsourced or supported by other vendors are the ones that must be carried over to the users of WebDMEMR. We expect that these will be kept to the necessarily minimum.

I am sure you will be enjoying a robust electronic medical record which will satisfy all your needs now and in the future. Remember it has a unique feature of continuity of care not shared by other EMRs, which you will come to appreciate later when WebDMEMR becomes more universal in use.

Be confident that you still enjoy the best versatile EMR in the market.

Sincerely,
